Gifts of the Spirit for the life of the Church.
Charisms are gifts of the Holy Spirit that help us bring Christ’s love to others and build up his Church. Teaching, encouragement, mercy, and practical service are among the ways these gifts can be expressed.
The assessment explores 23 charisms and offers a starting point for discerning your gifts. Discernment continues through prayer, experience, and guidance from people you trust and the Church itself.

A few things you may wonder.
Is the assessment really free?
Yes. Taking the assessment and viewing your results are free. You do not need an account.
How long does it take?
Allow about 20–30 minutes to respond to 115 short statements about your life. Take the time you need to reflect; there is no need to rush.
Do I have to finish it all at once?
No. Your responses are saved as you advance. Use Save & return later to keep your return link and pick up where you left off, on this device or another. Keep the link private: anyone with it can open and continue your unfinished assessment.
Is this a personality test?
No. It is a starting point for discerning how the Holy Spirit may be working through you to serve others.
- A personality trait describes a tendency in how you think, feel, and act, such as being outgoing or reserved.
- A charism is a gift of the Holy Spirit given especially for the good of others and the building up of the Church. Its focus is the good God brings to others through your service. A personality trait or natural ability does not by itself establish a charism.
- The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit strengthen our inner life with God, helping us grow in holiness and respond readily to his guidance. That spiritual strengthening also shapes how we love and serve others. Charisms are gifts of the same Holy Spirit, with a particular emphasis on serving others.
These gifts work together: growing closer to God and serving our neighbors belong to the same Christian life. Your results suggest charisms to explore through prayer, service, and feedback. They do not assign a personality type or measure your holiness.

Will it tell me for certain which charisms I have?
Your responses suggest possibilities to explore. A score does not confirm a charism or measure holiness. Bring your results into prayer, service, and conversation with people you trust and the Church itself.
Can I return to my results or share them?
Yes. Keep your return link to revisit your results from this device or another. You can share your results link with anyone you choose, whether a friend, family member, spiritual director, or someone in your parish. Anyone with the link can view your results, so share it thoughtfully.
Is my assessment private?
Your answers and results are yours. We do not sell your assessment data. We do not share your personal results with a parish, diocese, or other organization for its own use unless you explicitly opt in.
Your answers to individual questions are not provided to those organizations, even if you choose to share your results. We may use combined, non-identifying information to understand charisms across a parish or diocese. Those summaries do not include individual answers or results, and must not identify anyone.
